What is different about the way Kate Tiffin makes curtains and blinds?

1. Attention to detail. I love to sew and want everything leaving my workroom to be something I am proud of.
2. Curtains and blinds will be as neat at the back as they are at the front. No loose threads.
3. I will make tiny fabric bags to store loose cords.
4. Fabric widths will be carefully pattern matched.
5. I will give you advice on the type of lining that will make your curtains look fabulous and will deal with problems such as cold windows and doors, or the need for light reduction in bedrooms.
6. Where a hand-headed curtain is required, many fabrics can be ‘pleated to pattern’ – the heading will be positioned to coincide with a feature on the fabric. Most online retailers do not offer this service and some specifically exclude it.
7. Personal service. I visit at a time to suit you and I will listen to your needs and aspirations for your living space. I will then suggest ways this can be achieved with soft furnishings.
8. I will take detailed measurements, so you don’t have to worry about the correct sizes.
